Who is it about? It is about the LoL streamer “Doaenel”. He could captivate an average of 1,000 to 2,000 viewers with his streams. He currently has around 3,000 subscribers on Twitch.
He exclusively streamed League of Legends on the live streaming platform for 10 to 14 hours a day. Doaenel aims to become number 1 in the game – no matter the cost.
With poetic, motivating tweets and his match statistics, the streamer tries to push himself and show how well he is currently performing in LoL.
Doaenel refers to himself in his Twitter bio as the best Hecarim in the world. Hecarim is a playable character in the MOBA League of Legends.
Twitch bans the streamer because of his name
Why did Doaenel receive his permanent ban? On February 6, Doaenel tweeted the reason for his sudden ban: his username. Twitch sees the name as “do anal”.
The streamer immediately stated that his name has nothing to do with that, and he has had it since he was 16 years old. The name consists of the following criteria:
- The first 2 letters of the last name
- The first vowel of the first name
- The third letter of the middle name or the name of a parent, if there is no middle name
- The last consonant of the last name
- Adding the suffix “iel” or “el”
Doaenel intended to create an angelic name.
In a YouTube video, he shared his story and how he got into Twitch.
Previously, Doaenel, according to his own statements, had already tried to get banned from Twitch; he swore wildly in streams and behaved badly. He was in a bad mental state, according to Doaenel. However, Twitch did not take any action and let him continue streaming.
However, there has already been a ban: In 2020, he sexually harassed a female streamer and asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. As a result, Doaenel received a temporary ban from Twitch.
It is unclear whether the increasing reach or previous streams are to blame for the current ban. Perhaps Twitch has only now noticed his username. There has been no official statement from the live streaming platform yet.
Doaenel seems determined to continue and will surely appeal to Twitch to contest the ban. “I promise you, I will keep fighting. I promised myself to keep fighting. And that’s exactly what I will do (…)” said Doaenel at the end of his video.
