Who doesn’t know this? In League of Legends, there are champions that can frustrate even the most experienced players. It’s frustrating when you should dominate a matchup, the team is well positioned, but you still lose on the lane against a certain champion – the personal nemesis.
In a recently published thread on Reddit, players exchanged their feelings about champions they seem to always lose against, even when the team is performing well.

Renekton – Top Lane
The Reddit thread begins with a player named P9Hunnit, who prefers the top lane. He expressed that he feels defeated in lane duels against Renekton regardless of the favorable matchup. Even when Renekton is not that strong, P9Hunnit constantly loses against him. Even if he wins the game in the end, the first 10-15 minutes are pure stress for him.
What makes Renekton strong? He is particularly strong in the early game. His abilities allow him to make aggressive trades and deal damage quickly. Many players may not know how to play against her because she is not played often. Nilah also gains experience when she last hits minions and can amplify and share the healing and shielding power of allies nearby.
If she gets through the laning phase well, she has good snowball potential. Her W gives her movement speed and allows her to evade incoming attacks (similar to Jax). Throughout the game, he can deal high single-target damage as well as considerable AOE damage in teamfights with his ultimate and his E. He scales well and becomes a late-game monster. At the same time, he can protect himself from damage with his pool (W) and safely retreat from combat.
