Every player of League of Legends is unique and has their own playstyle. Sometimes, however, a personal way of playing can be a bit exhausting for teammates. A LoL pro has now found out that he belongs to the most exhausting type.
Which pro is it about? The Swedish supporter Rekkles has been playing League of Legends professionally since 2012. He used to play as an ADC and achieved some success, including several titles in the LEC, the European league.
Later, he switched to support and won the Streamer Team Los Ratones twice at the EM. Currently, he is part of the team Witchcraft, where he also plays with his long-time ADC partner Crownie.
What did Rekkles say? In a clip from his stream on Reddit, Rekkles talks about his concerns as a teammate. There, he asks the following: “Does everyone hate playing with me?”
In the same clip, he expresses his perception of himself and says he thought he had always been a good team member.
The reason for his doubts were various situations where other pros criticized him. One of the main reasons was a clip from his teammate Crownie (reddit.com).
Crownie’s long-time partner insults him during a round in LoL
What did Crownie say? During a solo round, Crownie randomly played together with Rekkles. As in the pro scene, both were on the bot lane as ADC and support, but the players’ names in solo ranked are replaced with other names from the LoL universe.
This means Crownie did not know that his support was Rekkles. As the round neared its end, Crownie started to insult Rekkles for his playstyle. He did not use his ultimate to save Crownie.
He further insulted Rekkles as “Dogshit” and expressed that such behavior should be permanently banned. Additionally, Crownie criticized Rekkles’ champion selection, which reinforced his opinion towards the permaban.
How did Crownie find out that he was insulting Rekkles? After a match ends, a screen appears where players can honor each other. There, Crownie eventually realized that it was Rekkles.
Fans find a reason for the hate towards Rekkles
What are fans saying on the topic? The Reddit user Dependent_Swan_8142 mentions a reason for the hate towards Rekkles and writes: “Nattynat (one of the pros who criticized him) said it was because Rekkles completely muted himself, making it impossible to communicate with him during the game.”
Other users also write that Rekkles often turns on what is called Fullmute. This describes when a player blocks all communication with their team. The blocking of important pings to Rekkles is particularly criticized (reddit.com).
Why is Fullmute exhausting? Communication is one of the most important elements in a competitive game like LoL. A Fullmute player is among the most exhausting, as a Fullmute prevents them from ever playing well in sync with their team. (reddit.com).
Fans mention another reason: Rekkles’ playstyle is also mentioned as a reason by his fans. He plays for KDA (Kills, Deaths, Assists), meaning to die as little as possible and gather as many kills or in the case of a supporter assists (reddit.com).
The Reddit user Cryptidangel writes that this playstyle is unpopular among aggressive solo players and that is why Rekkles is not liked as a teammate.
Rekkles’ last team, Los Ratones, disbanded in February 2026. A final attempt to get into the LEC failed in front of nearly 600,000 viewers on Twitch. With Team Witchcraft, he is now trying to achieve new successes, however, he revealed in a stream that he is soon looking for new alternatives: “The Return of the ADC King” – LoL pro gives fans hope for a comeback in his old role
