Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski is the jungler for G2 Esports and is one of the top players in League of Legends. However, he has a lot of criticisms for the new champion Samira. He finds her way too strong and therefore recommends everyone to play her.
What does Jankos say? In a livestream, the pro looked over the profiles of his fans, which they could send to him. When he came across the profile of an ADC player, Jankos started talking about Samira and hinted at his opinion of her in the description:
I always forget this fucking new champ. The new Broken Shit, Katarina combined with a tank and Yasuo’s Windwall and 20 dashes.
When he then mentioned the name Samira, he had some good advice for all ADC players watching him:
Every ADC should play Samira, she is so broken. Every ADC should play Samira, she is so OP. So play Samira. Anyone returning [to LoL] now should play Samira.

What is wrong with Samira? The new champion Samira was released on September 22 and is played as an AD Carry in the bot lane. From the start, she was very strong. So strong, in fact, that Riot Games released a hotfix on day 1.
However, the criticism of the champion persisted. This is because while Samira is very complex, this complexity is also rewarded with strength. This can be very frustrating, especially for newcomers or inexperienced players.
But even at high level, Samira is unpopular. According to League of Graphs, she currently has a ban rate of 73.2% in ranked games Platinum and above. This is not as high as shortly after the release of Aphelios, but it is still well above average.
How does Riot Games react? In patch 10.22, there was a slight nerf for her, but her standing has not changed. For the upcoming update 10.23, which is set to be released on November 11, no changes to Samira are planned.
Samira is unpopular among players because she is so strong. However, she is by no means as hated as Seraphine. This new champion currently has the most dislikes of all time and there are many reasons for that:
