The Troll King can take out opponents with just one click
Why do such builds work now? Riot is completely changing items in LoL with the next season. For example, the mythical tier of items will be completely removed from the game. This will result in several items disappearing or being adjusted. However, the advantage is that players can now use more items, providing builds with more flexibility.
Furthermore, there are new items: spellcasters using AP will particularly benefit from the item update. AP stands for “Ability Power” and translates to “Fähigkeitsstärke”. This is one of the main damage types in LoL.
In the new season, more legendary items are set to be introduced to increase the variety of builds, which will primarily benefit champions that rely on AP. And this is exactly what the Troll King Trundle is currently benefiting from.
What combination is it about? The new build revolves around the Troll King Trundle. Players have discovered that Trundle, with the new AP items, is capable of using his ultimate ability to go from 100 to 0 instantly. His ultimate ability is “Subjugate” and immediately drains a percentage of health, armor, and magic resistance from the target. Over the next 4 seconds, the same amount is drained again. However, Trundle does not have to touch the opponent; you only need to hit him with a single click.
With the new effects of the AP items, Trundle can deal enough damage with his ultimate ability against weaker targets to kill them, without ever having to touch them. Players can cast their ultimate and run away without touching the opponent.
