A player has a special idea about League of Legends: He takes the rather unremarkable champion Veigar and amplifies him to the absolute extreme. With 25,000 stacks of his passive buff, the ‘Little Master of Evil’ becomes a damage machine in LoL.
This is the idea: A user on reddit is now having fun leveling champions in LoL to the absolute maximum. He does this in the training tool of League of Legends:
- Some champs in LoL have abilities that can stack to absurd heights, which cannot be achieved in a normal game of LoL, lasting between 20 and 60 minutes.
- Veigar’s passive ability ‘Phenomenal Evil Powers’ ensures that his spell power increases further when he kills champions or participates in their deaths. The champ is designed to scale with increasing spell damage.
- In a normal match, Veigar might reach a few dozen stacks of this buff, but in the training tool, a reddit user raised the value to 25,000. Apparently, that’s the maximum.
This is what the overpowered Veigar looks like: In a video, the user shows what is now possible with such a strong Veigar. The Baron dies with 4 auto-attacks or with a single hit from each ability.
The Baron is the strongest creature in League of Legends. At a high level, much revolves around who controls the Baron, as its death grants the team a strong buff and leads them on the path to victory.
After Veigar has blown up the Baron a few times, he then gears up and waddles down the mid lane, taking out every turret in his path with an auto-attack.
The Master of Evil has actually achieved maximum evilness.

Does he do this with other heroes as well? Yes, indeed. The player has already conducted two similar experiments. However, these are less about the damage of the heroes and more about their indestructibility.
The experiment started with Cho’Gath, the monster. The monster becomes huge and practically indestructible with 10,000 stacks of his buff.
Swain may look like he is about to collapse with 10,000 stacks at any moment, but he has so much health points that they simply cannot be displayed correctly in LoL.
These are extreme cases that hardly play a role in actual LoL. The 3 champs do not reach such heights in normal matches. But even in regular League of Legends, there are always champs that are too strong for a moment:
