The next regular patch in League of Legends is coming to the live servers on February 8. With this patch, the developers want to finally refocus the jungle and reduce their pressure on the lanes.
What changes in Patch 13.3? The changes in Patch 13.3 affect all lanes, but the jungle is given a special relevance.
- On the top lane, K’Sante is the latest champion in LoL. He has the highest participation in games on the top lane at 66.7% (via Oracle’s Elixir). He will be weakened in almost all abilities in the upcoming patch.
- In the mid lane, Le Blanc receives a buff that is intended to enhance her especially in the early game.
- In the jungle, the favorite of the pros receives a buff. The scaling on Lee Sin’s attack damage will be improved on his Q and E abilities.
- On the bot lane, tank-supporters like Thresh, Leona, and Nautilus receive a buff, making them more pleasant to play again. This is intended to end the era of ADC-supporters.

What does this mean for the jungle? The goal of the adjustments is to make the jungle more attractive for champions and thus entice them to spend more time in the forest. The neutral monsters are meant to give more experience than before with Patch 13.3. Additionally, the cookies from the companion will provide less gold.
At the same time, Riot Games is trying to make the lanes less attractive for junglers by increasing tower damage until minute 14. The higher damage leads to a greater risk, so the tower can no longer be completely ignored.

What does this mean for forgotten junglers? In the current meta, there is the possibility for junglers to skip certain neutral monsters to get to the lane faster for a kill. It used to be different. The neutral monsters were fought until the very last.
Due to the changes, it may now lead to champions who are not so strong at the beginning of the game to take shelter in the jungle and kill all neutral monsters.
These scaling champions, such as Lilia, who received a decent buff in the preseason, or Nidalee could therefore gain a new surge in popularity. Moreover, there are some champions who could take advantage of this “power farming”.
