Netflix has released a new trailer for the “Animated Series: Arcane,” which is set in the universe of League of Legends. The clip provides a glimpse into the world of a quite angry Jinx, who apparently carries a complex about her sister Vi. Fans love seeing the familiar LoL champs in these moments.
This is shown in the trailer: In the new trailer “An Open Account,” we accompany the well-known LoL sharpshooter Jinx into a destroyed boxing hall. The trailer is captioned “Jinx wants to prove something. Especially to her sister.”
At the beginning, Jinx seems nostalgic, but when a crow scares her, it becomes clear: Jinx is highly focused and angry. The crow pays for daring to disturb her with its life.
While Jinx is repairing a boxing robot, flashbacks reveal that she and her sister Vi apparently trained together on this robot as children. The relationship seems volatile: while the sisters sit harmoniously side by side in some moments, they scream at each other in the next moment.
The red-haired Vi seemed to be a bit better at boxing than the blue-haired Jinx. Now, she seems to want to prove that she can beat her sister’s high score and pounds away at the robot, which measures her punching power.
When she sees exhausted that it is still not enough and her sister’s high score stands, Jinx reaches for the weapon again. Jinx’s solution to problems seems to be to shoot at them until they disappear. LoL fans might also know this from her in the bot lane.

- It is very well received by LoL fans. The trailer has already received 124,000 likes on YouTube and less than 1,000 dislikes.
- Fans know Jinx from LoL as a kind of crazy weapon enthusiast who is generated similarly to the crazy character “Harley Quinn” from the Batman universe. They feel like they are seeing the “origin story” of how Jinx became so insane. She comes alive here.
- There are also many comments suggesting that Jinx surely angered Fiddlesticks and Swain by killing the crow.
What is the series about? The Netflix series “Arcane” apparently revolves around the two sisters Jinx and Vi. Both grew up together as street kids. However, while Vi made it to the upper world with her reinforced, huge fists and works as the “Guardian of Peace,” Jinx seems to have taken a different path with her preference for firearms.
When is Arcane coming to Netflix? The series is set to premiere in fall 2021. We don’t know more at the moment.
