The trailer for Vex, the new champion in League of Legends (LoL), is getting a great reception. The community is celebrating the abilities of the mage, as well as her character. Moreover, she apparently plays an important role in the sad life of Amumu.
What’s new in LoL? On September 2, the team released the new champion trailer for “Vex, the Ruin Seeker”. And the title already hides the motto of the little gothic sorceress. Because colorful colors or being generally happy are, in her opinion, completely overrated.
In the trailer, she zooms through the Summoner’s Rift and deals some serious damage to her enemies. Always with her: shadow powers. In July, Riot Games already introduced Vex with her theme.

This is what the trailer shows about Vex: In the video, we first see Zoe, Ivern, Lux, and Fizz, who are all joyfully bouncing around the map. Then the camera pans to Vex, who is clearly not in the mood and begs to be allowed to keep sleeping. She then talks to her shadow and asks if he can take care of making the cheerful champions die.

When Vex encounters Amumu, she says: “You’re sad AND dead? Let’s be friends!” – So, Amumu finally finds friends after all.
Which attacks does she use? The exact values and mechanics of the attacks have not yet been officially introduced. However, you can immediately see a powerful attack when she gets her first kill against Zoe, which she shoots straight away from her.
Additionally, there’s a large AoE attack that puts affected enemies in fear after a short channeling. She uses this against Fizz, who jumps over the wall.
For movement, Vex can apparently ride on her shadow. How fast this is and whether it is a longer-lasting ability like Quinn’s transformation is unclear.
When fighting against the dragon, Vex sends her shadow ahead and can then apparently teleport to his current location, which is further away.
