Due to his many previous achievements and the victory at Worlds 2023, the League of Legends
legend Faker will receive a special skin for Ahri. However, for the best version, you might have to save a bit, as it is by far the most expensive skin package.
Faker is the most famous LoL professional of all time. No one has celebrated as many successes as he has, which is why he is also the first player in the LoL Hall of Fame. To celebrate all of this, Ahri will receive a special Immortalized Legend skin.
If you want the new beautiful skin in its best
version, you will have to dig deep into your pockets, as it will cost you a modest 450 €. With that money, you could almost buy a PS5 and Xbox.
You can find the trailer for Hall of Legends here:
A skin between 46 € and 450 €
What does the skin look like? Riot has finally released the price and content of Ahri’s Immortalized Legends
skin. This skin is intended as a tribute to the career of Lee Sang-hyeok, also known as Faker. The skin will be available in 3 bundles.
The cheapest
bundle is the Ascendant
. For 5430 RP, just under 46 €, if you purchase the RP bundles, you will receive the Ascendant Legend
Ahri skin, the next event pass, an exclusive border, stickers, icons, and a kill counter. The prettier version of the skin with new effects, a transformation, and different borders and profile customizations costs a modest 32,430 RP, approximately 250 €, when you combine the RP bundles. That’s already more expensive than the controversial skins that could only be obtained from loot boxes.
But that is not even the best edition of the new skin. This one costs a whopping 59,260 RP, approximately 450 €. In addition to the previous items, there are chromas for the other Faker skins, 100 pass levels, exclusive cosmetics, a title, and a new emote for the skin: Faker’s signature, which you can activate with STR-5.
More information about the bundles can be found on the official LoL website.
This is the most expensive bundle that Riot has ever offered. Even the unpopular physical collector’s edition for Worlds 2023 was significantly cheaper and provided you with something physical: LoL: Riot sells a limited, digital collector’s edition for 65 €
I want a handwritten letter when I buy this
Under the tweet by Spideraxe, many critical comments are piling up, as players generally like the design of the skin, but the price of the large edition is simply too much:
- @BroSam__:
I don’t think it’s right to pay over $500 for a bundle of skins, chromas, and icons.
- @Moonboy65:
riot, all you had to do was make Risen Legend Ahri available separately and make Immortalized Legend Ahri available through missions like KDA Seraphine, but no, we are forced to pay $500 just for the upgrade.
- @CobaltJack:
Do they really think $500 is fair for this xD I want a handwritten letter personalized for me, from Faker, when I buy this.
Many players are particularly upset that the skin can only be purchased in the really expensive bundles; those who only want the skin have to buy all the gimmicks that come with it. Ahri fans will really have to dig deep into their pockets. After all, it’s cheaper than wanting to buy all the skins: LoL: How much does it cost to buy all the skins and what happens when you have them all?
