K/DA is a band in the universe of League of Legends and was originally created to sell special skins in the game. In 2018, they had a big hit with the song Popstars. Now, the band’s first album, titled ALL/OUT, is set to be released in November.
What kind of band is this? K/DA is a K-Pop group that Riot Games launched in 2018. It consists of 4 members, all of whom are playable champions and voiced by real singers and rappers.
Their first video, Popstars, alone reached nearly 380 million views on YouTube. In August of this year, a second song, The Baddest, followed. The accompanying video currently has around 23 million views.
In addition to these two songs, there is also a “Behind the Scenes” video and a video from the live performance in 2018. All videos combined have been viewed more than 450 million times on YouTube alone. The songs can also be accessed on Spotify, iTunes, and other music platforms.
What is now planned? Via Twitter, the band announced that their first album ALL/OUT will be released on November 6.

Rotating singers and collaboration with a new champion?
What do we know about the album? The singers behind the champions of the band K/DA have changed with the song “The Baddest”:
- Evelynn was originally voiced by Madison Beer, an American singer. For the new song, Wolftyla took over.
- Kai’Sa was sung by Jaira Burns from the USA in 2018. In “The Baddest”, however, Bea Miller sang. She confirmed that she was only brought in for that one song and did not voice the whole album (via Twitter).
On reddit, it was speculated whether the singers could rotate for every song. However, there are also consistent singers in the band:
- Ahri has been voiced by the South Korean Miyeon, a member of the K-Pop group (G)I-dle, since 2018.
- Akali has been voiced by Soyeon, also in (G)I-dle, since 2018.
Is there a collaboration with Seraphine? The cover of the album shows the 4 champions, but since July there have been speculations that the upcoming champion Seraphine will at least get a guest appearance on the album.
Riot Games has given Seraphine her own presence on social media and even made her cover K/DA songs. Additionally, there was a leaked image showing all 5 champions. Although it is a bit blurry, many fans consider it to be a possible promo image from Riot Games.
