League of Legends receives new Project Skins for 2019 and showcases them with gameplay. In the teaser, Riot hid a champion, which fans quickly discovered.
Which skins were announced? LoL released a video on July 14 about the Ruined. This announces the new Project Skins that are supposed to come to LoL.
This series of Project Skins is popular among fans and has been around for a long time in LoL. In 2016, fans were excited when LoL continued the skin series with these champions. In the video, four of the five champions that will receive a Project Skin are initially seen.
- Pyke
- Jinx
- Irelia
- Akali
On Reddit, Riot employee EarthSlug explains that somewhere there is also a teaser for a fifth champion hidden. It took only a short time for fans to discover the hint. On Twitter, a user writes: The fifth project is Warwick. You can see that in the video tags.
This skin was also confirmed.

How fans are reacting to the new skins
These skins are praised: On Reddit, especially the new Project Skins for Warwick and Irelia are praised:

- “If they can just fix Warwick’s clumsiness, it would be a dream come true for WW mains. A great skin AND bug fixes in one patch”

Pyke’s port animation is also praised. Players compare the summoned monster to a Steelix from Pokémon.
For this skin, there is criticism: The Project Skin of Jinx is not received well. Here, players express suggestions to improve the skin.
- “Please don’t use the same auto-attack sounds as Jinx’s standard skin”
- “All these skins look super, except Jinx. Although, I take that back. Jinx doesn’t look bad, she just doesn’t look like a Project Skin”

Other players point out that the skins are probably still in development and could still change in terms of sounds or appearance.
