Currently, you can get 6 free Skin Shards in League of Legends through a challenge and you only need to play a little. MeinMMO shows you how it works and how long it will take.
In League of Legends, you can currently buy special event capsules that guarantee you Skin Shards. Additionally, you receive extra rewards through milestones, the more of these capsules you buy – up to a maximum of 25 capsules.
To celebrate the start of the milestones for these Eclipse capsules, there is currently a rewarding challenge in the game:
- Introduction to the Showcase milestones: Play and win matches to collect 150 points (only matches through the opponent search)
For this, you will receive an Eclipse Capsule 2022 and an Eclipse Surprise Bag 2022. Both loot boxes are guaranteed to contain a total of 6 Skin Shards and are easy to obtain.
LoL: Eclipse Challenge brings fast rewards
How long does the challenge last? The task is active for 7 days and goes offline on May 12, 2022.
How long do I need for the challenge? You receive points from the challenge through your playtime. Every minute counts.
- Summoner’s Rift, ARAM, Event modes
- 4 points per minute
- 6 points per minute for a win
- All TFT modes
- 3 points per minute (places 5 – 8)
- 6 points per minute (places 1 – 4)
- Summoner’s Rift – Coop
- 1 point per minute
- 2 points per minute for a win
For example, if you play for 30 minutes in an ARAM and win, you already have 180 points. If you go under in a “Summoner’s Rift” match and give up after 15 minutes, that’s already 60 points.
As long as you are in one of the larger modes, you should need a maximum of 45 minutes + matchmaking time to scoop up the rewards.
What do I get as a reward? The two items guarantee you at least 6 Skin Shards together and the chance for additional rewards:
- Eclipse Capsule 2022
- 3 random Skin Shards
- 3.5 % chance: Eclipse Surprise Bag 2022
- 0.05 % chance: Mythic Skin
- Eclipse Surprise Bag 2022
- 1 Skin Shard – max 1,350 RP
- 2 Skin Shards – at least 950 RP
- Chance for mythic essences
- Chance for 2 additional Skin Shards – at least 975 RP
From the Skin Shards, you can unlock at least 2 permanent skins and have chances for more rewards.
