Frederik “NoWay” Hinteregger (31) is the largest German Twitch streamer for League of Legends and was a co-streamer at the championship final of the LEC in Montpellier. He is now reporting on Twitter that he was attacked and robbed after his appearance.
NoWay is currently serving as the official co-streamer for the Season Finals of the LEC 2023 in Montpellier, France. On X/Twitter, the 31-year-old described this opportunity on September 9, 2023, as the “highlight of his career.”
Shortly thereafter, the evening apparently took an unpleasant turn. On September 10, NoWay reported via X/Twitter that he had been attacked and robbed the night before. He published footage showing the incident.
The perpetrators allegedly threatened him with a firearm, which later turned out to be fake, as well as a knife, and beat him several times. We have included the tweet here:

The robbery was apparently about the streamer’s watch. Under his post, he writes that he should have simply handed over the watch instead of running away (via Twitter).
According to comments under a Reddit post, a Rolex was stolen, the only luxury item the 31-year-old had purchased for himself. NoWay mentioned last year that his first big purchase from his Twitch earnings was a Rolex worth €8,000 (via YouTube).
It is unclear whether the watch the perpetrators were after was the Rolex. We have requested a statement from NoWay and will add it here as soon as we receive it.
The 31-year-old is reportedly doing well under the circumstances. He came away with just a few dents and scratches and the shock (via Twitter).
