Annoying 4 against 5 games in League of Legends (LoL) will soon be a thing of the past.
As system designer RiotSocrates has now confirmed on Twitter, RiotGames is working on a system that will allow players to forfeit games earlier or vote for a “remake” (a restart with changes). This will be possible when one or more players are AFK and not participating in the game.
New Surrender System in LoL
Many players of League of Legends experience the problem that in some matches a teammate is missing from the start of the game and one has to wait 20 minutes before one can forfeit the game. Of course, there are also cases where a team of 4 players defeats the other team, but that should not be an argument against a new surrender system. RiotSocrates tweeted “Just to confirm: We are working on an earlier surrender vote in games with an AFK player from the beginning – the system will not come in patch 6.9.
RiotNeuroCat then added that they are trying to implement the “/Remake” command into the game as quickly as possible. However, there is not enough time to fully develop the system before patch 6.9, so players will have to wait a little longer.
