In a very entertaining video, the two League of Legends professionals Faker and Caps meet. They know each other, as they have dueled many times in the midlane. However, this time they had a conversation on the treadmill and exchanged gifts, with Faker appearing somewhat confused.
What is this gift about? In LoL, Worlds started on October 10 with the Play-Ins. Since this tournament is taking place in Korea, all qualified teams are already on-site, even though they will only play their matches at a later date.
The Korean team T1 took advantage of this to shoot a small promo video with their own legend Lee Faker
Sang-hyeok and the Dane Rasmus Caps
Borregaard Winther. Both professionals start on the treadmill and discuss their fitness and stay in Korea in a rather strange situation. They have a certain chemistry between them, which makes the video very entertaining.
At the end, they exchange small presents. Faker has a jacket with his name stitched on it in his luggage. Caps, on the other hand, gifts a cactus.
Here you can watch the video:
We had to go to 5 different stores to find the cactus
What is it about the gift? Faker seems somewhat confused at first in the video about what this gift is all about. He reminds one of a child who receives socks for Christmas.
Caps explains in the video that he chose the cactus for a very special reason. It is called Unkillable Demon Cactus
. That is the appropriate gift for the Unkillable Demon King
.
However, it seems that it was quite a task to find this cactus:
We had to go to 5 different stores because it is a rare plant, but we wanted to give you the cactus because you are the Unkillable Demon King and this is the Unkillable Demon Cactus. Because the cactus does not need much water to survive.

After the explanation, Faker smiles a bit more and thanks – as does Caps – for the gift.
Two Legends in the Midlane
What makes the players so special? Faker is the most famous LoL player in the world. He made his debut at the World Championship in 2013 – at the age of 17 – and immediately won the title with T1. He repeated this success in 2015 and 2016. In the following years, the team landed in the Top 4 four more times.
You can learn more about Faker in this video:
Caps, on the other hand, is one of the best European players. He made his international debut in 2017 (at 18 years old) with a 5th-8th place with Fnatic. A year later he took second place with Fnatic and the following year took second place with G2 Esports.
Although he has not yet won a World Championship, he has already achieved many regional championship titles. His greatest success is likely to be the victory at the Mid-Season Invitational 2019, where he was also named the tournament MVP.
Both have faced each other multiple times on the big stage, including in the semifinals of MSI 2019, where G2 Esports won 3-2 against T1.
What do you think of the video featuring the two? And what do you think of the cactus as a gift? Was it a good idea, or would a jersey or a jacket have done just as well?
There is another interesting story about Faker that Riot Games itself processed in a video:
