LoL Auto Chess immediately reaches number 1 on Twitch – Why?

Since yesterday, Teamfight Tactics, the auto chess game for League of Legends, has been playable on the test server. Currently, it is the most viewed game on Twitch, surpassing Fortnite, LoL, and many others.

Big streamers show interest in the new auto chess

Why is Teamfight Tactics being watched so much? The new game from Riot Games combines the successful MOBA League of Legends with the currently very popular new genre Auto Chess.

Moreover, not all fans of the game can yet try their hand at Teamfight Tactics. To test the new auto chess, one needs access to the PBE, the test servers for League of Legends.

To get this access, one also needs a LoL account, and they must reach honor level 3. Players who want to quickly test the new auto chess currently have no chance to do so.

Which streamers are showing Teamfight Tactics? To reach many viewers on Twitch, you need a certain level of popularity. Many streamers of Teamfight Tactics already have that.

Currently, mainly well-known streamers from the original Dota 2 auto chess are playing the new game. These include Kripparian, DisguisedToast, and Hafu, all also known for their interest in Hearthstone.

But League of Legends streamers like Scarra, Shiphtur, or Imaqtpie also tried the auto chess yesterday.

When will Teamfight Tactics be released? The release of the new auto chess is planned to take place with patch 9.13. This is expected to be released on Wednesday, June 26.

With patch 9.14, new features such as a ranking system and many bug fixes are planned.

Auto Chess is generally successful on Twitch

How are the other auto chess games performing? Besides Riot Games, Valve recently started the testing phase for their own auto chess. Dota Underlords is currently available to battle pass owners.

According to Sullygnomes, Underlords has been in 10th place among the most viewed games on Twitch for the last three days. At the start of Underlords, nearly 60,000 viewers tuned into the streams.

Additionally, there is still the game category auto chess, in which the Dota 2 mod and the mobile game have been shown. It was in 3rd place in the statistics for the last 90 days but has recently dropped significantly due to Underlords and Teamfight Tactics.

At its peak, 60,000 interested viewers were watching here on May 21.

But not only Riot and Valve are working on auto chess. A version is also expected to be released for the Epic Store:
