Faker was significantly involved in G2’s clear defeat against T1 in the League of Legends tournament MSI 2024. Soon after, however, T1 itself had to concede defeat against BLG, which meant their exit from the tournament.
Who did Faker kick out of MSI 2024? On May 17, Faker and his team T1 faced their European rival G2 again in MSI 2024. The match went for G2 even more disappointing than expected, as they had to accept an elimination from the tournament with a score of 3-0.

Eliminated Just Before the Finish Line
How did the game go? Overall, one can say that T1 and BLG delivered an exciting encounter. Right from the first game, they went aggressively at each other. The match ended after just 29 minutes with a victory for the Chinese team. BLG then appeared very motivated and provoked the camera by announcing that their plan was now to win with a 3-0.
However, T1 pulled themselves together in the second game, and Faker and his team managed to equalize. Both teams then had a neck-and-neck race until it was finally 2-2. In the last round of their best-of-5 duel, Bilibili, however, dominated clearly again, which ultimately led to their victory. This led to the elimination of Faker and T1 in MSI 2024.
