The biggest German Twitch streamers from League of Legends, like NoWay4U_Sir or Tolkin, are knocking on the door of the German Prime League with their team NNO. However, in their first attempt, they faced 21-year-old Erkan “Envy Carry” Şenol, the midlaner of the Austrian team “WAVE Esports” – and he was a tough opponent.
What a match it was! It’s about promotion to Germany’s 1st league, the Prime Division of LoL. Due to the forced relegation of a team from Berlin, the chances of entering the league in 2022 are higher than usual:
- The winner of the match will play in the first league in 2023.
- The loser of the match must play against Hertha BSC on Tuesday for the last spot in the Prime League Division 1.
- Hertha has recently lost to both teams: against NNO in the final for the 2nd league a month ago – against WAVE a few days ago in the 1st relegation match.
Who competed? On one side was No Need Orga: This is a team of the biggest Twitch streamers in Germany for League of Legends, playing without a coach and fixed structures: However, with players like Tolkin or NoWay, they have strong players in the team. Niklot “Tolkin” Stüber (24) was pretty much a permanent champion in the Prime League until the end of his career in 2020.
WAVE Esports, on the other hand, was one of the weakest teams in the 1st league in 2022 and now has to play relegation to avoid demotion. A key player in the team is the mid-laner “EnvyCarry” (21), who played for No Need Orga from January to May 2022.

The highlight of the match was: One highlight of the match was undoubtedly a quadruple kill by EnvyCarry on Akali in the last match of the series, in game 4. Tolkin barely avoided the penta by cleverly escaping.
But by then, it was already over for NNO:
- In the match, EnvyCarry achieved a dream KDA of 11.0 with 13/2/9.
- The jungler MiraiX went even more off in the match, playing 12/0/12 on Viego – a KDA of 24.0.
Ultimately, the Twitch streamers lost the encounter 1-3. At its peak, the match was watched by 50,278 people on the Prime League channel on Twitch.
Before the start, there was confidence that midlaner NoWay had picked the ultimate “dream pick” with Cassiopeia. However, NoWay finished the match with 3/8/4 and a KDA of 0.9, the weakest stat of the 10 players involved:
NNO faces a wild ride for promotion on Tuesday
How is the match perceived? The top German streamer NoWay congratulated the opponents. He himself and the team played “very poorly”. On Tuesday, a wild ride is expected.
Tolkin still seems to be bothered by someone calling his team a “bar team” – he prefers to refer to them as a “retirement team”.
He says they are known for going the “full distance” – thus, they will have to challenge Hertha again on the 27th.
EnvyCarry says: The opponents played very strongly. It was very exciting games.
In LoL, the Esport year is now truly entering its hot phase. In a few days, the World Championship in League of Legends will start. However, there are strange news from a German perspective:
