In League of Legends the ADC is usually the one who is supposed to shine. Supporters are expected to sacrifice themselves for the team. But a supporter has the best stats at the LoL Worlds 2023: It is the 21-year-old exceptional player Keria.
Why is that so extraordinary?
- Normally, the primary task of a team is to keep their own ADC alive: He usually plays far back and in safety, he is the central focus of his team in the endgame. ADCs also often have ways to escape.
- Therefore, it is usually the ADC who dies the least and is most often involved in kills: He actually has the highest KDA – this describes the ratio of kill deaths and assists to his own deaths.
- On the other hand, the supporter is often in focus of the attackers, for him it is not so bad if he dies. He is actually expected to sacrifice himself sometimes. Just like the top laner, who often acts as a tank or is supposed to initiate attacks.

Supporter has the only double-digit KDA at the Worlds
This is how it looks right now at the Worlds: The supporter of the South Korean team T1, Keria, stands with 5 kills, 7 deaths, and 65 assists at a KDA of 10.0 in 1st place. He is currently the only player at the Worlds who still has a double-digit KDA (via oracleselixir).
He is followed by 3 ADCs:
- His own Gumayusi with 9.3
- Ruler, who is seen by many as the current best LoL player in the world, with 8.8
- Light, the ADC from Weibo Gaming, with 8.7
By the way, the worst value in the tournament was achieved by top laner Adam (Team BDS), who ended up with a KDA of 0.9.
It also looks like Wunder is playing in his place in 2024.
Who is Keria? The 21-year-old Keria is an exceptional player. He has been with T1 since November 2020 and is considered one of the greatest talents that League of Legends has ever seen:
- His best rounds were at the Worlds with heroes like Bard (1 game – 12.0), Tahm Kench (2 games – 10.0), Renata Glasc (2 games – 10.0), and Senna (1 game – 10.0).
- Significantly worse were his performances with heroes like Ashe (1 game – 3.0) and Alistar (1 game – 1.0, his only defeat).
He and his partner Gumayusi are considered a great strength of T1. All of Korea wishes the team success in the next 2 matches, as Faker could secure his fourth world championship.
