Some Pokémon cards have sold for high prices in recent years. That’s why the trading card game attracts more and more fans who start with their first boosters. A little boy experiences a truly heartwarming situation when he receives his first cards as a gift.
What luck did the little boy have? At a trading card fair, a man approaches a seller and hands him a collector’s binder filled with numerous Pokémon cards. He wants the binder to be given to a child who happens to stop by the booth.
The seller is quite surprised, as the binder contains many rare cards, including some holo cards.

A few minutes later, a little boy comes to the booth and looks at the selection of Pokémon cards. The father mentions that his son wants to start collecting, but he himself has no idea about it.
The seller sees his chance and hands the little boy the binder. He can hardly believe his luck and first asks if the binder is really free. But the luck doesn’t end there: A man at the booth gives the father-son duo another graded card, which is presumably of high value. He jokes that the little one is on a loot hunt.

Why is this such a great gesture? In recent years, Pokémon cards have fetched outrageous prices. Although some cards have now decreased in value, they are still worth several thousand euros. Cards from the first editions can even fetch up to 400,000 euros.
Even the new cards from current editions are highly sought after. In many places, current editions are completely sold out. One store didn’t even want to sell the boosters, fearing the rush of buyers.
Therefore, it is a beautiful gesture to simply hand over rare and valuable cards to the young man. We hope that he has fun collecting for many years to come and perhaps even acquires one or another investment through it.
