Lineage 2 Revolution offers a total of 24 classes. But which one is the best to start the game? Find out in our guide which 10 classes perform the best and why you should play them.
The mobile MMO Lineage 2 Revolution offers you 4 races and 3 base classes. You can choose from the races of Humans, Dark Elves, Elves, Dwarves, and the classes of Warriors, Rogues, and Mystics. That doesn’t seem like much at first, but from level 31 you can advance your class into one of two additional options.
But which combination of race and class is ideal for which role and playstyle? We have 10 recommended classes for you!
Hawkeye (Hawkeye)
| Race | Human |
| Class | Rogue |
| Leveling | 5/5 |
| Dungeons | 3/5 |
| PvP | 3/5 |
The Hawkeye is a ranged fighter that deals area damage from a distance and slows down enemies.
He excels particularly well at leveling and grinding, as his strong ranged attack performs especially well in auto-play. Just let him run on his own and your hero will swiftly farm enemies.
In dungeons, however, the Hawkeye performs rather mediocre (hence only 3 out of 5 in the table), as it struggles to control flying enemies and takes a lot of damage.
In PvP, you should play the Hawkeye mainly in sieges. There it can often land the decisive finishing blow from a distance. However, in a 1vs1 duel, this class is rather weak.
Paladin (Paladin)
| Race | Human |
| Class | Warrior |
| Leveling | 4/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 4/5 |
The Paladin is a well-balanced melee class that excels in every aspect of the game.
When it comes to leveling and grinding, the Paladin, as a melee fighter, has to move a lot, but he hits hard and can take a lot of damage. So you can let him grind alone.
Due to his many control skills, the Paladin is well-received in any dungeon.
In PvP, the Paladin should also be used as a control hero. He lacks burst damage to secure kills on his own.
Bishop (Bishop)
| Race | Human |
| Class | Mystic |
| Leveling | 2/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 5/5 |
The Bishop is a support hero who is extremely hard to kill.
Unfortunately, he is not suitable for leveling and grinding as a healer and supporter. He simply lacks damage output.
In dungeons, raids, and world bosses, the Bishop is always welcome as a support hero. However, in smaller dungeons, he is not absolutely necessary.
In PvP, however, a supporter is an invaluable advantage for any team, as you can stay alive much longer and optimally capture or defend the highly contested mission objectives.
Silver Ranger (Silver Ranger)
| Race | Elf |
| Class | Rogue |
| Leveling | 5/5 |
| Dungeons | 3/5 |
| PvP | 3.5/5 |
Silver Rangers are similar to the human Hawkeyes as ranged fighters. They have fast attacks and high range.
As a ranged fighter, this heroine is excellent for farming and leveling.
Like the Hawkeye, the Silver Ranger has difficulty with flying enemies in dungeons.
In PvP, the Silver Ranger is slightly better than the Hawkeye, as she attacks faster.
Sword Singer (Sword Singer)
| Race | Elf |
| Class | Warrior |
| Leveling | 3.5/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 3.5/5 |
Sword Singers are beautiful fighters with well-balanced stats.
When it comes to leveling and grinding, the Sword Singer can score points with ranged attacks, but she doesn’t have the best burst damage values.
Due to her well-balanced stats and buffs, this class is well-suited for dungeons.
In PvP, the Sword Singer should avoid 1vs1 duels due to her rather mediocre burst DPS potential. However, in mass battles, she can score greatly thanks to her buffs.
Temple Knight (Temple Knight)
| Race | Elf |
| Class | Warrior |
| Leveling | 2/5 |
| Dungeons | 3/5 |
| PvP | 5/5 |
Temple Knights are tanky warriors who can become temporarily invulnerable.
Unfortunately, this class is almost purely a tank and has little DPS potential. Therefore, it is poorly suited for grinding and leveling.
Most dungeons are not designed for having a tank. However, it doesn’t hurt.
In PvP, the Temple Knight shows her true strength! Anyone who has tried to capture the crystals in sieges always wishes for a temporarily invulnerable Temple Knight to secure the mission objective.
Spell Singer (Spell Singer)
| Race | Elf |
| Class | Mystic |
| Leveling | 3.5/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 4.5/5 |
If you want to deal a lot of AoE damage at range and look good doing it, then choose the Spell Singer!
With her area attacks, this heroine can deal significant damage. She is therefore quite suitable for leveling and grinding.
The same applies to dungeons. There, the nuke elf also scores with good DPS numbers. Additionally, she can slow down and control enemies.
The mass battles in PvP are also a paradise for this heroine. AoE damage is key!
Abyss Walker (Abyss Walker)
| Race | Dark Elf |
| Class | Rogue |
| Leveling | 4/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 4.5/5 |
Do you want to play the ultimate glass cannon? Then get this dark elf damage dealer!
Glass cannon should be taken literally here! The Abyss Walker is so fragile that he can die even while auto-grinding against the standard enemies if he gets unlucky. So don’t let him run wild for too long or pack him plenty of healing potions. Nevertheless, he should swiftly wipe out enemy hordes while leveling and grinding.
In dungeons, the Abyss Walker is always welcome as the primary DPS class. With his bleeding effects, he can cause good DPS over time. But be cautious not to take too much damage.
In PvP, the Abyss Walker slaughters everything, but you should always be careful not to accidentally get caught in area attacks or to be caught off guard. This class is therefore only for skilled players.
Blade Dancer (Blade Dancer)
| Race | Dark Elf |
| Class | Warrior |
| Leveling | 4/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 4/5 |
The Blade Dancer is currently (November 2017) the most popular class in Korea, and there is a reason for that. This dark elf not only looks good, but is also clearly superior in all areas.
With his good DPS values, solid stamina, and practical buffs, the Blade Dancer can optimally grind, farm, and level.
His versatility also comes into play in dungeons. With this class, you can’t really go wrong. The same goes for PvP. Blade Dancers are just great!
Slayer (Slayer)
| Race | Dwarf |
| Class | Warrior |
| Leveling | 4/5 |
| Dungeons | 4/5 |
| PvP | 5/5 |
This cute little dwarf may not have the fastest attack speed, but she hits like a hammer and is nearly unbeatable in PvP!
While leveling and grinding, she zips through enemies like a little whirlwind and slaughters them all! Just let the Slayer have some time alone, and she will present you with mountains of dead enemies!
In dungeons, her high speed and good DPS output also make her a good choice.
In PvP, this cute little rascal also need not hide. Thanks to her dwarf abilities, the Slayer increases her defense so much that she becomes nearly invulnerable. And tanky heroes are always a good idea in mass PvP battles, especially if they can deal damage too.
