Are you looking for a new MMORPG with survival elements and plenty of zombies? Then Lifeless could be the right choice for you.
The MMO Lifeless has now entered Early Access and is available on Steam for currently €17.99. It slightly resembles Daybreak’s H1Z1, as you will also be dealing with zombies in Lifeless and need to survive.
After the Zombie Apocalypse
The story takes place in 2021, ten years after the outbreak of a zombie epidemic that nearly wiped out all humanity. You are among the few survivors who still want to try to stay alive. You find yourself in the town of Stillwater Bay, once a popular tourist destination in the US state of Maine. Now it is a graveyard. In the ghost towns, only the undead dwell, and the few humans have retreated to safer areas and formed small communities.
Survival is Key
Your primary goal is: Survive. After creating a character in the MMO, you need to search for food and water as well as useful equipment to defend yourself against the zombies. You can team up with other players to improve your chances. In the world, the two rival factions Nova Guard and Spartan Phalanx are operating, both seemingly descending into madness.
Therefore, PvP exists as well, because in the wilderness you not only have to watch out for undead wanting to snack on you, but players from the opposing faction will attack you for your last shirt. That’s right, PvP is possible anytime and anywhere.
The currently released version is still a very early version. Bugs and balancing issues are to be expected, and not all content is available yet. If you want to dive into battles against the zombies right now, you can check out the Early Access for Lifeless.
