It is seasoned with the hottest chili in the world, the “Carolina Reaper chili.” The heat is measured on the Scoville scale. The “Carolina Reaper chili” can reach a Scoville value of up to 2.1 million. In comparison, an ordinary Tabasco sauce reaches a Scoville value of between 2500 and 5000.
What are the dangers? Consuming spicy food can carry serious health risks. The most common effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain.
Furthermore, eating very spicy food can lead to breathing problems, dizziness, and an increased heart rate. In some cases, it can even result in serious health complications such as gastric or intestinal bleeding. Thus, the “One-Chip Challenge” poses a significant health risk.
What happened to the teenager? In the USA, this dangerous trend has now claimed a shocking fatality. A 14-year-old teenager who participated in the “One-Chip Challenge” has tragically died.
