In Pokémon GO the level 50 could be introduced soon. A corresponding find in the game files gives trainers hope.
This is new: The dataminers from PokéMiners have found some adjustments to the GameMaster file. In summary, there are 2 interesting updates:
- Rewards for levels 2 to 50 have been added
- A change has been made to the mystery box for Meltan
Especially the rewards for levels 2 to 50 are causing discussions. Some trainers, however, do not expect any change in the trainer level behind this adjustment.
Level rewards found – Is level 50 coming?
What is known about the level find? The find is the basis for new rewards. So no rewards themselves have been found, but the files that show that there can be rewards for leveling up to 50.
On the other hand, the rewards themselves were also found a bit later. So it is now known what items there are when leveling up to level 50.
However, the dataminers did not find any further information on this. So there is still much room for discussions.
What could this find mean? With a level, the trainer level does not necessarily have to be meant. There are currently 40 levels, so the find would indicate a possible increase in levels.
However, other levels could also be meant. A completely new level system could be introduced. This seems unlikely, as the find rather points to the trainer level.
The trainer “TornadoJ88” suspects on reddit: “Interesting, hopefully it has something to do with prestige levels? Or perhaps with PvP rewards?”
So it could well be that at least 10 prestige levels will be introduced soon. They do not provide any advantage, but players can achieve them for themselves. Rewards for these level-ups would certainly fit.
However, it is still rather early to make large speculations. Therefore, one should wait for further information to be able to say more here.
Recently, Pokémon GO commented on a level increase in the summer of 2019.
What has been changed in the mystery box: A spawn table has been added to the mystery box. This generally describes the frequency of Pokémon that appear with a certain action.
So far, you can only get Meltan from the mystery box. It is thus indicated in this table with 100%.
It is now suspected that this change could allow new Pokémon to be added to the mystery box. For example, the rate of Meltan could be lowered to just 50% and another Pokémon could be added with 50% in the spawn table.
So we can hope for a new Pokémon in the mystery box in the future. It may be linked to one of the Pokémon games on the Switch, just like Meltan has this connection.
But even here there is still too little information to make concrete statements. Only time will tell what Niantic has planned with these changes.
Unfortunately, there is nothing new here: Currently, Pokémon GO is still affected by various bugs. Unfortunately, the update has not brought any improvement in this regard.
Players who play on the Samsung Galaxy S20 can still not perform any actions in the game. There has been a bug for weeks that makes access to the game impossible.
