During the many streams of the digital BlizzCon 2021, there were quite a few announcements. Which ones did you like the most?
This was announced: As always, the BlizzCon showered new info and announcements, even though this year had to be held online. We followed the streams together with you in our live ticker and now want to know which of the announcements was your favorite.
Here’s an overview for you to refresh your memory:
- Blizzard Arcade Collection: The collection includes three classic games from Blizzard’s history. They are The Lost Vikings, Rock’N’Roll Racing, and Blackthorne. Additionally, there is bonus material like lore, interviews, and local co-op with split-screen.
- WoW Shadowlands: Content from Patch 9.1: The Shadowlands addon has been bringing the first major patch since its release in December, promising much story drama around Anduin, as the exciting cinematic suggests. Furthermore, players will receive a new raid where they will likely face Sylvanas.
- WoW The Burning Crusade Classic: After much speculation, the release of TBC Classic has been officially confirmed. Players will be able to travel back to the times of WoW’s first expansion, creating either a new character or continuing with their Classic character.
- Diablo 4: The next installment in the Diablo franchise has announced the Hunter as one of the playable classes and presented it in a video. She is fast and can specialize in both melee and ranged combat. Poisons will play an important role for her.
- Diablo 2 Resurrection: The remaster of the beloved classic Diablo 2 is set to be released in 2021. In addition to improved graphics and new cinematics, there will also be slight gameplay adjustments. The developers want to remain true to the old Diablo 2 feeling.
- Hearthstone: In Blizzard’s card game, the “Year of the Griffin” has been launched, where players can expect new addons, seasonal events, and cards. Additionally, the core set will be introduced in Hearthstone, consisting of 235 cards and will be free for all players.
- Overwatch 2: In Overwatch 2, the heroes will be given a new look. The new adjusted outfits of McCree, Mercy, Winston, Genji, and others have already been revealed. Moreover, the developers showcased the new hero Sojourn for the first time.
