A 18-year-old from Germany earned over 1 million euros with Fortnite in 2024, but his main source of income is not Twitch or YouTube.
Who is it about? The German Twitch streamer, YouTuber, and Fortnite pro Lennard “Rezon ay” Sill answered various questions from his viewers and published it as a video on his YouTube channel.
- Rezon has 1.1 million followers on Twitch and streams regularly for around 5,000 viewers (via SullGnome). On YouTube, his videos regularly reach over 100,000 views.
- Rezon is currently a player for the e-sports team Exceed, previously he played for the team from Fokus Clan, which was founded by the Twitch streamer Elias Nerlich.
- As a Fortnite pro, Rezon managed to reach the top 10 in various international Fortnite tournaments, winning a total of nearly €499,000 in prize money and is considered one of the best players in Germany – even though he just turned 18 in 2024 (via esportsearnings.com)
However, Rezon is not only successful as a content creator and pro player but also earns money with maps he publishes for Fortnite.
18-Year-Old Becomes a Millionaire with Fortnite
How much has he earned? In the video on YouTube, Rezon does not want to give exact figures, but he reveals that he earned over a million euros in total in 2024: “It’s definitely in the seven-figure range, so I earned more than a million […] this year.”
The 18-year-old also says that the income fluctuated significantly throughout the year. By the end of 2024, it had been “much crazier” than at the beginning.
What does he say about his high income? Rezon emphasizes in the video that he doesn’t want to “flex”, or show off. Instead, he wants to show what can be achieved if you stick to your goals:
It should be motivation for you. I don’t need to flex or whatever, it wouldn’t even do anything for me if I did flex. This should be motivation for you. […] I really went from 0 to 100 in 2 years and that’s only because I put in the time, listened to no one else, and really grinded every day. And if you do that, you can achieve it too, so let that be motivation for you.

How did he earn so much? In the latest video, Rezon did not reveal exact details about his earnings, but we already know that a large part of the money comes from Fortnite maps. Additional income comes from Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.
About a year ago, in January 2024, Rezon was a guest on the podcast of content creator Amar. There he gave insight into his earnings at that time (via YouTube). The estimated amounts were:
- TikTok: about €3,000 to €4,000 per month
- YouTube: about €10,000 per month
- Twitch: about €20,000 to €25,000 per month
- Fortnite courses: about €10,000 to €12,000 per month
- Rezon offers courses to help players improve in Fortnite
- Sale of own keyboards: €25,000 to €35,000 depending on the drop

- Rezon could not disclose any contract secrets, but Amar estimated that he would be paid about €5,000 to €15,000 per month as an e-sports team. Rezon commented on this as a “good price range.”

While Rezon mentioned in January that the map income was above average compared to previous months, since he revealed in the latest video that the end of 2024 performed better than the beginning, he likely did not experience significant losses.
Thus, Rezon not only has one major source of income that constitutes 90% of his money – although the Fortnite maps certainly account for a large share. Instead, he is active in several areas. He uses his channels (YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok) not only as additional sources of income but also as marketing platforms to raise awareness of himself and his products.
