“Fibii back where the hype is”
Which TikTok was it about? In the video, Fibii stated that her mother would watch her streams at work and that this was not okay. She joked about reporting her to her boss. She also mentioned with a smile that her mother would find her hairstyle “sugar”.
Yet, as inconspicuous as this clip seemed, it became the trigger for numerous hate comments.
What was commented? Reved received this clip during her 7-day stream. But instead of addressing the content of the clip, Reved immediately noticed the insulting comments that appeared under the video.
In one of her streams, Reved read aloud the insulting comments and pointed out how inappropriate and hurtful they were. One comment that she addressed specifically was: “Fibii back where the hype is”. Reved was visibly annoyed by this and called for “to leave the poor girl alone”.
Just shut your mouth. Where is she? In her apartment, in a city where no other person lives. Neither in Cologne, nor in Berlin, nor anywhere else. In her apartment, somewhere in the middle of nowhere where she lives. Can’t we just leave her alone for once? No joke. Just leave the poor girl alone! Really, it makes me want to puke when people are so annoying. Just let her be!
Reved expressed her incomprehension that people would attack Fibii with such hate, even though she is still so young and just follows her passion. Reved encouraged her viewers to show respect and empathy and to leave Fibii alone.
“I wish I could be like the others”
How does Fibii feel about such comments? Unfortunately, Fibii has faced negative comments and prejudices before. As a young streamer, she often encounters criticism and hate, whether due to her age, her career choice, her relationship life, or because she doesn’t praise an energy drink enough.
She herself brought this up some time ago in one of her reality talk videos. There she said, in tears: “The thing is, I have done nothing. I haven’t hurt anyone. It’s really just my personality that is hated, and that makes me even sadder.”
She reported that in the evenings, she often watches the videos directed against her and reads the critical comments about her. She does not understand why many people have something against her and her behavior. “Dude, it made me so sad that I’m back at this low point. I hate my own personality because of others. I wish I could be like the others.”
The stress from negative comments can be enormous for content creators, especially for young talents like Fibii. The rapid success and recognition can become an additional burden they must handle.
