LEGO has launched a new website – and it hints at upcoming Overwatch sets made of LEGO bricks.
On the official LEGO website, there is now a page featuring the LEGO logo directly next to that of Overwatch. Blizzard and the Danish toy manufacturer are obviously collaborating.

Overwatch Sets by LEGO
Collaboration already announced: Blizzard and LEGO had previously announced a collaboration earlier this year, but without specific dates. The official LEGO website now reveals a “coming soon” and a copyright for 2019, suggesting that it could start next year.
No specific date or which sets will be released has been disclosed yet.
Blizzard expands product range: Blizzard has increasingly sought collaboration with third parties in recent times. Recently, clothing retailer Uniqlo launched a collection featuring various designs from Blizzard games.
Most recently, Blizzard has also expanded its project with Hasbro, to launch Nerf guns in the Overwatch style.

LEGO is growing up: The collaboration from LEGO is a significant step for the toy manufacturer. LEGO has previously avoided acquiring licenses for products aimed at an adult audience.
Thus, the collaboration with Blizzard and Overwatch is surprising, but it gives hope for further products from similar franchises.
After some players have already recreated Overwatch content using LEGO bricks, such as Reaper’s shotguns and Reinhardt’s hammer, or the creations by Han Seong Wook (featured image), the excitement for official sets is likely to be high.
Wild rumors arise: The website Brick Fanatics claims to have received information that LEGO sets will be launched in 2019 alongside an Overwatch TV series. The series is supposedly set to be released on Netflix.
Blizzard has already announced that an Overwatch series is planned for Netflix. However, no date for 2019 has been mentioned yet.
