Two short videos tease new content for LEGO Fortnite. What you might look forward to with the new update can be found here.
With a new update, the aspect of farming in LEGO Fortnite could be further expanded. Two short clips now tease what players might look forward to. However, there has not yet been a clear confirmation of the new content from official sources.
What content has been teased? In two short videos on X (formerly Twitter), LEGO Fortnite teases the possibility for players to befriend animals and let them live in their base. In the clip, you can see a sheep being petted and appearing quite affectionate with the character.
There is also a brief zoom on a dialogue that says: “[…] whether they want to live with us …” Following this, the character jumps for joy. So it seems quite likely that the animals will be able to live in your base after the update.
Build a stable and enclosure for your new roommates
Another clip on the official X account of LEGO Fortnite shows how the player builds a stable and enclosure for the animals in their base. Presumably, the new update will expand farming and animal husbandry a lot more than just offering animals that can then live with you.
What does the community say? The possibility of having animals in their base in the future seems to excite many players already. The reactions in the comments under the short teaser suggest this.
Some players are also already letting their imagination run wild and imagining which animals they would like to let live in their base. One user even requests a horse and saddle in their comment so that they can ride around in the future.
Another player wishes for small Lego pigs in the game, in order to set up a, as he writes, “kid-friendly” slaughterhouse. How exactly that should look remains to the imagination of each individual.
