What is this trick? You can reduce or even completely prevent fall damage with a well-timed melee attack.
In LEGO Fortnite, there is the option to build a helpful glider that allows you to glide through the air like in The Legend of Zelda. However, this won’t help much if you fall unprepared and don’t have a glider equipped.
As user “yowiethebear” demonstrates in a video on Reddit, you can reduce fall damage by performing a melee attack in mid-air. If your timing is right and you execute the attack just before impact, you can even completely prevent the damage.
Trick saves your life when you don’t have a glider
Is the trick really helpful? Yes! LEGO Fortnite is a survival game. If you fall from a great height and die from fall damage, you lose your entire inventory. You’ll have to collect it all again; otherwise, it will be lost.
Additionally, LEGO Fortnite allows you to express your creativity in building structures and even small towns. It often involves heights.
For example, if you build a tall tower from which you can travel to distant areas with your glider, it can quickly end fatally. This happens if you fall while building and don’t have your glider equipped to carry more materials for the construction.
The tip is just as helpful if you don’t have a glider yet – after all, you first need to upgrade your workstation to “rare.”
