Which franchise is this about? The sci-fi genre has fascinated film and series lovers for many generations. A well-known franchise that everyone has probably heard of is the “Terminator” franchise.

Now, however, Terminator fans can look forward to some fresh air in the franchise. Netflix announced in a trailer a first original anime around the Terminators.
What will the anime be about? The anime series will be titled “Terminator Zero” and will consist of 8 episodes. While the scenario of the story will be quite similar to the films, it will not be a copy of them.
The story will follow a fighter who is trapped between the future and the past. To change the fate of humanity, he is ultimately sent back to the year 1997.
There, a scientist named Malcolm Lee is to be protected, as he works on introducing a new AI system. It is supposed to counter the impending attack on humanity.
While working, scientist Lee is also pursued by a ruthless assassin from the future, who also affects the fate of his three children.
When is the anime supposed to start? The streaming service Netflix has announced that Terminator Zero will start on August 29, 2024. Production IG is responsible for the production.
