- In the “Pacifist Run,” you must not kill any opponents, but spare all monsters. This will give you the “good ending.”
- In the “Genocide Run,” you must kill all monsters and leave no one alive. This will give you the “bad ending.”
Depending on how you play, you will get different dialogue options and interaction possibilities with the many NPCs in the game. This alone ensures that multiple playthroughs are worthwhile. However, Undertale also has a special system.
With each new run, a “fun value” between 1 and 100 determines which details you can discover in the game. Depending on the variable, you might randomly get calls, have visual differences, or NPCs and locations may appear – or not.
