Within just a few weeks, gameplay from Diablo 4 has been leaked again, this time on a large scale. A player apparently streamed for friends on Discord, and the recordings ended up online: a full 43 minutes of gameplay.
This is what the leak shows: On reddit two videos have surfaced, one 5 minutes and one 38 minutes long, showing gameplay from Diablo 4. Among other things, various quests, the abilities of the different classes, and even the skill tree can be seen.
What many might be particularly interested in, however, is the briefly shown shop in the shorter video. In one scene, the contents of the in-game shop are visible, where players can purchase cosmetic items for themselves and their mounts for a premium currency.
The prices currently amount to 2,500 units of currency, although a conversion factor is missing. Blizzard has promised several times that the shop will have only cosmetic items, and according to the leak, that seems to be true.
We cannot embed the videos for you, but you can still find them currently on reddit. Just a few days earlier, the first cinematic of Diablo 4 had already appeared online.

“Mean to do that to a friend”
This is what fans say: The reaction from the Diablo fans is largely positive. They are excited to see more of Diablo 4 and find it amusing that after the huge GTA-6 leak, content for this massive topic is being seen beforehand.
Some joke that they would not be surprised by leaks from Elder Scrolls 6 or Half Life 3. It seems to be such a time. However, a good part of the fans is disappointed – not by the leak, but by the leaker.
The recordings come from the Family&Friends alpha, so an absolutely confidential access. Watermarks with the build are visible everywhere, clearly indicating who has broken their non-disclosure agreement.
Although the leaker tries to mask their identity with voice distortion, whether that helps is questionable. Already during the first major leak fans mocked the stupidity of the player. Now it is said:
I’m all for leaks, but leaking from a Family&Friends test is weak. Not the spreading, but the person behind it. An employee is doing them a favor, it can easily be traced back to him and he will be fired for it. That’s mean to do that to a friend.

Diablo 4 is still in an alpha state, where a lot can change. Although the game looks finished in the pictures, the technical aspect cannot solely be deduced from that.
When exactly the beta starts and when Diablo 4 will be released, we cannot say yet. Nor can we say whether the shown content will remain as it appears in the leak. Diablo 4 is supposed to be developed further over the years:
