In Destiny 2, data miners have discovered a new cutscene that likely shows how the story for the Guardians will progress soon. The video gives many chills and anticipation.

What is the video about? On April 22, the Update 2.8.1 was released for Destiny 2. This included not only the Spring event Guardian Games and the new ultimate difficulty level “Top-tier” for Nightfall: The Ordeal for Destiny 2, but apparently also some news that are not yet active. However, these have already been discovered and extracted by data miners.
This includes, among other things, a new cutscene that will likely be shown in the ongoing Season 10. This apparently shows how the story of Destiny 2 continues and currently causes chills and joy among numerous Guardians, as can be read in the comments on Reddit.
Keep in mind: These are data mining findings that have not yet been officially confirmed. However, since the scene comes directly from the game data, the likelihood that it will be included in the game is high.
What does the new cutscene show? The video is about 30 seconds long and shows the arrival of our arch-enemy, the Darkness, in our solar system – and not just anywhere on the outer edge, but already at Jupiter.
The cutscene focuses on the planet and shows how more and more of its surface is illuminated by the sun. Until the silhouette of a pyramid ship of the Darkness emerges from the black shadow of the planet – accompanied by eerie music.

What does this mean for Destiny 2? This means that we will likely soon face an army of Darkness, the mysterious arch-enemy that has been operating in the background since Destiny 1 until the Shadowkeep expansion – and probably sooner than many have assumed.
Many have speculated that we might meet the Darkness as part of a new major fall expansion. However, for some time there have been theories that it could happen sooner, already in the upcoming Season 11.
This clip, which is expected as a kind of transition to the next season still within the current Season 10, supports this theory.
In short: The Darkness will likely be at our doorstep by the end of Season 10. Whether there will be first confrontations is not clear yet, the cutscene leaves that open.
Players on Reddit are celebrating this new find. This can lift the currently rather poor mood and makes many, despite the previously criticized sparse season of the Worthy, eager for more. Numerous Guardians are looking forward to finally fighting against the Darkness and making Destiny 2 more exciting.
What else has been discovered: Previously, the well-known data miner Ginsor found hints about the return of perhaps the most famous legendary shotgun from Destiny 1 – Felwinter’s Lie.
Now, in addition to the ornament, data has also been found that belongs to the shotgun itself, thus essentially confirming its return. It looks like this will be obtained through the quest “The Lie” (The Lie), which is given by Ana Bray on Mars.
And with Felwinter’s Lie, even the once overwhelmingly powerful perk Shot Package returns. However, how powerful this will turn out to be in Destiny 2 is still unknown.
