In The Division 2, a leak regarding exotic weapons has appeared. In addition to the Exotics, it also reveals a feature that impresses the agents.
Where does the leak come from? In the reddit forum, the user
IzayoiSakuya398 spoke up. He reports that he was able to return to the White House as an endgame character in the beta.
He does not reveal how he managed that. Normally, in the testing phases of The Division 2, one could only play an Invaded mission as an endgame character.
What did the user find? He writes that he was able to see quite a lot. Even a few cutscenes, which he does not want to spoil. Instead, he posted screenshots of exotic weapons, new characters, and a quite impressive shooting range.

Where did he discover the Exotics? On a wall in the new shooting range of The Division 2, there apparently hang a few Exotics.
The exotic perks are not yet known.
This is an exotic assault rifle that you receive through the Elite Agents Pack (of the Ultimate Edition). It is called Ruthless and is an AK-47:

This is what is currently known about Exotics: We know from official sources that Exotics will be available in The Division 2 directly at launch. Soon after the release, more will be added and throughout Year 1, there will be further new Exotics.
Exotic weapons possess unique talents that are not yet known. It is only known that Exotics from The Division 1 will not return in The Division 2. And you can always equip only one exotic weapon.
An impressive gun range
The Exotics were actually not the highlight of the leak, but the new shooting range.
What is new about the shooting range? The leaker published this picture of the shooting range:
From left to right you see
- a section where you can test area damage,
- next to it is a shooting range for precision (with moving targets that occasionally take cover),
- next to it is a shooting range for DPS tests
- and next to it is one for range tests.
Additionally, you can determine the “difficulty” of the targets. From a red to a yellow health bar, from normal to named enemies. This way, you see how strong your build is against all kinds of enemies:
Next to the shooting ranges are displays that show your DPS output and the damage of your last shot.
Here’s how some agents react: The leaker himself writes that this shooting range is the biggest improvement in the game. People are also impressed in the comments.
“Wow, this sets a new standard for in-game shooting ranges for any game,” writes one. Another says that the shooting range looks awesome, and it alone is worth the price of The Division 2.
