A leak has apparently revealed the games for PS Plus in May 2022 for PS5 and PS4. We show you the games and give an assessment of the leak.
Which games does the leak show for May 2022? The leak shows the following 3 games:
- FIFA 22 – PS4 / PS5
- Curse of the Dead Gods – PS4
- Tribes of Midgard – PS4
As it stands, it looks like a FIFA game will land in the PS Plus subscription for the first time (via dealabs.com).
How reliable is the leak? There is no certainty, but last month the site “dealabs.com” correctly predicted the games for April.
Additionally, the well-known and regularly well-informed Twitter account @nibellion shared the leak:

What kind of games are these? We will briefly introduce the games to you:
- FIFA 22
With FIFA 22, you get the latest installment of the world’s most popular football simulation. You can play matches against friends, hunt for player cards in Ultimate Team, or even play 11vs11 in the “Pro Clubs” mode.
FIFA relies heavily on licenses and offers you the real names of most well-known football clubs and players. If you need some tips to get started, we will embed a suitable video here:
- Tribes of Midgard
Tribes of Midgard was released in July 2021 and is roughly a mix of Valheim and Diablo. The co-op game is based on Norse mythology, where you control a Viking.
You play a character that becomes stronger in game sessions but only has one life. You collect progress for the next attempt – a so-called “roguelite.”
The control works like in an action RPG with isometric perspective (“top-down”). With various classes, you try to achieve objectives in story mode or play a free game in survival mode. Special features of the game include:
- Co-op and solo play for all modes
- various biomes to explore with different loot and enemies
- a crafting system to create weapons and gear
- various bosses with special abilities

- Curse of the Dead Gods
Curse of the Dead Gods shares the isometric perspective and roguelite character with Tribes of Midgard. You fight your way through temples, regularly defeat bosses, and gain progress upon your death that you can take into the next run.
The game comes with dark comic graphics, offers you weapon combos, and relies on dodge rolls. Traps, the intensity of light in a room, or curses further put pressure on you.
The action RPG is often compared to “Hades” – a roguelite surprise hit from 2020. According to colleagues from GamePro, Curse of the Dead Gods doesn’t quite measure up, but is still a strong representative of its genre (via GamePro.de).

When will the new PS Plus games come? If the leak is correct, we will likely know on Wednesday evening (April 27). The games will be available to you on May 3:
- PS Plus: Games from Tuesday, May 3
- Typically around 12:00 noon
- Possible announcement: Wednesday, April 27
- Reveal of the games often around 5:30 PM
