In Fortnite, vehicles could soon become even more of a focus. At least that’s what a leak found by data miners suggests. We will show you what they found and what it could mean.
This is what’s happening in Fortnite: Season 5 of Chapter 2 is slowly coming to an end, and now some are wondering how Season 6 might unfold. Leaks found by data miners could provide interesting clues for that.
A leak points to changes with NPCs and vehicles that could be introduced with Season 6. Data miners have also come up with theories about what this could look like. This is not the first leak relating to cars in Fortnite – could Season 6 really focus on vehicles?
NPCs that can drive?
This is the leak that was found: Data miner Mang0e researched within the data of Fortnite and came across this hint: A few unfinished bot spawn opportunities for cars were added with the Update 15.40. Mang0e shared a few theories on Twitter about what this hint could mean:
- NPCs, bosses, or bots could control/drive vehicles in the future
- There could be a boss vehicle that attacks the players themselves
The data miner IFireMonkey, who has reliably leaked several things for Fortnite, also seems to believe that NPCs will soon be able to drive vehicles, as shown in his comment on this Twitter post:
But keep in mind that these are just leaks for now, and nothing has been confirmed by Epic yet. We will likely see what awaits us once more hints emerge. However, if this is planned for Season 6, we shouldn’t have to wait too long.
This is not the first theory circulating about Season 6. Some players believe that the seasons from Chapter 2 are connected to their predecessors from Chapter 1. If this is indeed true, players might expect chaos on the map, as the return of “Kevin”, the cube, is already expected by some.
