What’s new? As was revealed in the last leak by data miners regarding the current update 0.211.0, there will soon be new raid achievements and a raid stadium in Pokémon GO. In this context, the first images of new medals have also been found (via reddit.com).
These are the new medals in Pokémon GO
As with other medals in the game, these will again come in bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. Each image shows a trophy in the color of the medal. The typical raid symbol is featured on it. Floral wreaths embellish the badge around the trophy.
You can achieve the bronze medal with just a single interaction. For the silver, you need 50 interactions, and for the gold, 200 interactions. To secure the platinum medal, however, 500 interactions are required.
What can you earn the medals for?
The specific reasons for which you can earn the medals are not clearly revealed from the data miners’ information. However, the medal strongly resembles the previous medal for won raids based on its appearance.
For this reason, it is presumed that these may be related to the announced raid stadium. It is also conceivable that this medal will be given in connection with the announced raid achievements.
