League of Legends: Wild Rift is a standalone version of the popular MOBA, which will initially be released for Android and iOS. Later, it is also expected to be released for consoles. The gameplay remains the same. You will fight together with 4 other players against an enemy team. The familiar map Summoners Rift is also present along with ranked matches. However, the rounds are expected to be significantly shorter, and the controls will be adapted for the respective platforms. An open beta has been running in Asia since July 2020, and starting December 10, we in Germany will also get to play. The release of Wild Rift is expected to take place in 2021.
