League of Legends (LoL) is getting a new champion. And Pyke doesn’t look like a ray, even though everyone expected that.
A few weeks ago, the developers of the MOBA League of Legends announced that a new supporter would join the game. This one should be rather dark and intervene strongly as a supporter. Now Pyke, the Blood Harbor Ripper, has been introduced in the video.
Who is Pyke?
In the trailer, we mainly learn about Pyke’s story. He is disappointed with his crew, who stood by while Pyke sank into the depths of the sea. “In his eyes, the entire Bilgewasser is guilty,” it says in the description.

- Passive: Gift of the Drowned One
- When Pyke is not seen by enemies, he quickly restores a part of the health he recently lost to enemy champions.
- Q: Bone Skewer
- Basic Click: Pyke skewers all enemies in front of him and significantly slows them down. If he impales a champion, 50 % of the cooldown of Bone Skewer is refunded.
- Hold: Pyke readies his harpoon and throws it. The first enemy hit is impaled, and Pyke pulls them a short distance towards him.
- W: Phantom Undertow
- Pyke dives into spectral waters, camouflaging himself and greatly increasing his movement speed, which gradually decreases over the next few seconds.
- Camouflage hides Pyke from his enemies as long as they remain outside his immediate vicinity. Attacks and abilities immediately end the camouflage.
- E: Phantom Pull
- Pyke leaps and leaves a drowned phantom behind. After a short delay, the phantom returns to Pyke. Enemies hit by the phantom take damage and are stunned.
- R: Death from Below
- Pyke strikes in an X-shaped area, teleporting to champions and executing all those whose health is below a certain threshold. Enemies in the X who are not executed take damage equal to that threshold.
- If an enemy champion in the X is killed, the last assisting ally also receives the full gold amount and the kill credit. Additionally, Pyke can use Death from Below again immediately for a short time.
