A coach of a professional team in League of Legends has lost his job due to his own nervousness. A story he told publicly to ease the tension cost him his job. The heated atmosphere fueled by sex scandals in the public may have played a part.
The LoL coach Yoonsup “Locodoco” Choi was fired by his team, the Golden Guardians, three weeks ago. After only four games in the season, he was fired because he shared a “personal story.”
The exact content of the story is not known. But Locodoco now admits: “Although the story was not intended that way, it could have been understood as sexual harassment.” In any case, it was inappropriate.
The coach wanted to break the ice but talked himself out of a job
According to his own statements, Locodoco gave an interview in February. The atmosphere in the room was so tense that he tried to ease that tension with a personal story to break the ice. However, the story was so inappropriate that he immediately regretted it.
Although he did not intend to embarrass anyone, it was nonetheless unforgivable. In his position, he should not tell anything that could even remotely be understood as sexual harassment. Therefore, he understands the decision to fire him.
Now he wants to take some time to reflect on himself, his life, and his future career.
It is unknown exactly what Locodoco said, but it was reportedly inappropriate toward a female employee of the Riot Games eSports team.

Locodoco – already known as a jinxed figure
Before becoming a coach, Locodoco was a well-known LoL player and one of the original members of Team Solo Mid.
Locodoco was already involved in an unfortunate incident in 2011 as a LoL player related to sex. At that time, he streamed, likely without realizing it, visited a porn site, and masturbated in front of an audience. The incident became known as “The Locodoco Incident.”
Hopefully, he did not tell that story.
