The MOBA League of Legends has a new draft mode planned, players will no longer choose their own champs, but those of the opponents.
Riot Games has come up with something new and will now strategically challenge players in the draft mode. In the “Nemesis” mode, they will no longer select their own heroes, but those of the opponents. The mode is planned for Summoner’s Rift and the 5vs5 mode. It will be the first “Feature Game Mode” of the year.
For the selection of what champions to impose on the opponents, all champions that at least one of the opponents has in their collection are available. As with other draft modes of League of Legends, players will still be able to “ban” 3 champions, and swapping within players of a team is also possible; here players can also end up with champs they do not own. If a team bans a champion in the Nemesis mode, no one can be forced to play that specific champion.
At the moment, the Nemesis mode is still in beta on the PBE, the test server for LoL: According to initial reports from Kotaku, the mode is currently characterized primarily by players leaving the lobby when they are assigned a champ they simply do not want to play.
