After many teasers, the update of the champion Taric is finally known at League of Legends (LoL).
At the beginning of this year, developer RiotGames announced the major rework of the champion “Taric”. The League of Legends community welcomed this announcement with joy, as Taric was already a rather “unique” character, but his abilities appeared to be very – quite outdated. Even at the first mention of the rework, the champion designers of LoL knew that Taric would have one of the strongest ultimate abilities to be found in the game after his overhaul.
These are the abilities that the new Taric possesses in LoL
Passive: Bravado – After casting a spell, Taric charges his next 2 basic attacks. He strikes faster with these attacks, deals more damage with them, and additionally, these attacks reduce his cooldowns.
Q Ability: Starlight’s Touch – Taric heals himself and his nearby allies based on the number of collected Starlight Touch stacks. He generates up to 3 stacks over time.
W Ability: Bastion – All abilities are cast simultaneously by Taric and his linked target.
W Passive: Bulwark increases Taric’s armor.
W Active: Taric connects with an ally and grants them a damage-absorbing shield. Bulwark remains linked to the target until Taric casts the ability on another ally or the linked targets get too far apart.
E Ability: Dazzle – Taric fires a short wave of energy in the targeted direction. All affected enemies are stunned.
R Ability: Cosmic Radiance – Taric calls upon the stars for protection. After a delay, he and all nearby allies become invulnerable!
With the rework, Taric’s abilities have definitely been modernized. Especially the ultimate ability will likely polarize among LoL players (Rip Karthus fans).
