Camille is no stranger in League of Legends (LoL). Riot has released her abilities and more about her backstory.
Camille is an elite agent. She is tasked with maintaining order in Piltover. Her sense of duty has led Camille to transform her body into a Hextech-powered killing machine. She is also known by the name Steel Shadow. When Camille approaches a target, she is calm, ruthless, and terrifyingly precise.
Overview of Camille’s abilities in LoL
Her abilities are designed for precision and mobility. You better not be alone when you face a Camille – She is a master at picking off individual victims for her attacks. Here’s an overview of Camille’s abilities:
Camille Passive: Adaptive Defense
When Camille attacks other champions with her normal attack, she gains a shield. This is particularly effective against the primary attack type of the opponent. The shield becomes stronger based on Camille’s maximum health.
Camille Q: Precision Protocol
Camille performs a slicing attack with her next normal attack that grants a bonus to physical damage and gives her increased movement speed for a moment. For a brief moment after Camille uses her Q, she can cast Precision Protocol again for an additional slicing attack. If she waits a little longer, her Q can deal additional bonus damage and part of it gets converted into true damage.
Camille W: Tactical Sweep
Camille gathers her energy. After that, she releases it in a cone in front of her, dealing physical damage to all enemies hit. Enemies in the outer area of the cone are heavily slowed. They also take additional damage based on their maximum HP, and Camille heals from it.
Camille E: (First Cast) Hookshot
Camille fires a hook. If she hits a wall with it, she is pulled towards it. This briefly gives her the opportunity to cast Wall Dive.
Camille E (Second Cast) Wall Dive
Camille rushes towards a target. She stops at the first champion she hits and immobilizes all nearby enemies. When Camille dives onto a champion, she receives a bonus to the speed of her attacks and the radius of the attack increases.
Camille R: Hextech Ultimatum
Camille jumps onto an enemy champion and captures them. All other enemies are knocked away. While her ultimate is active, her victim cannot leave their prison under any circumstances. The prison disappears after a short time on its own or when Camille leaves it. In the prison, Camille’s normal attacks deal additional magic damage.
This is how Camille is played in LoL
Camille is an agile fighter who must be played with precision. She is the perfect duelist and works best when she targets a single objective and forces it into a fight for survival. Each of her abilities must be executed carefully and at the right time.
Does Camille meet your expectations? Or would you have expected something completely different?
By the way, the new champion of League of Legends Camille reminds us of a killer from a movie:
