Normally, the friend plays in the Diamond league and recorded 5 wins and lost 5 games in his placement matches. Due to these results, he was only placed in the Bronze 4 league.
Bronze against Challenger in LoL – How is that possible?
Currently, players have a hard time in the placement games of League of Legends. Not only is your subsequent ranking and league placement incorrect, but the search for teammates also has “small” issues. Reddit user shadowalien13 has experienced these problems himself. He played the placement games and was not pleased when he saw the ranks of his opponents. Not only did he have to play against Gold and Diamond players, but a Challenger also made it onto the opposing team.
What does Riot say about the ranked issues in LoL?
In the forum, Riot Socrates stated that they are aware of the issues with game quality and placement errors. A short-term fix is supposed to resolve the issues for some, but not all players.
