The LawBreakers Update 1.3 is released today on September 11th. We will show you what else is changing besides the role limit in the patch notes.
A major update is now available for the LawBreakers community. Patch 1.3 introduces a role limit to the Quick-Play mode for the first time. Without having the same roles stacked, the game is simply more fun, the developers say.
Find out in the patch notes what will change for you when you start LawBreakers after the update.
LawBreakers Update 1.3 – Only 2x the same role allowed
The new role limit in the update allows only two of the same role per team. The developers have listened to a lot of feedback on this topic and have noticed that LawBreakers is simply more enjoyable when different roles are represented in the team and not everyone plays the same role.
“Anyone who has ever encountered five Juggernauts defending a Blitz goal knows what we mean.” After the update, you will no longer encounter three or more of the same roles against you.
Furthermore, the team adds that the role limit is important for the development of the ranked mode. This is already being tested behind closed doors for future release.
No character balance changes
The new Patch 1.3 is the first update that does not include balance changes for the shooter characters. While significant balance changes are forthcoming, they still need to be extensively tested before going “live.” Initially, it was important for the developers to make the role limit available as soon as possible.
