The teaser trailer was followed by the official announcement of the new class from Black Desert. The MMORPG is somewhat stepping away from its fantasy roots.
What kind of new class is this? With a teaser, the developers of Black Desert announced in early December 2024 that the new class of the MMORPG will focus on revolvers and shotguns, thus breaking away from the previous fantasy roots to some extent.
Now there is the official introduction of the Deadeye class. She is the leader of the so-called Canary Gang, known for her beauty and ruthlessness. The cowgirl’s specialties include the projectiles she can use.
Deadeye can freely switch between regular and Marni projectiles:
- Regular projectiles deal significant damage to single targets.
- Marni projectiles are less harmful but compensate for this with a larger explosion radius that covers a wide area.
Of course, it also makes a difference whether the Deadeye is shooting at her enemies with a revolver or a shotgun. In the new combat trailer, you can see the class in action:

What else is known? The developers are launching a media fireworks show for the new class. Throughout the day (December 15, 2024), the D-Day Diaries are supposed to reveal more details. Additionally planned:

With the item called “Marni Wave,” Deadeye was able to hear her brother’s voice for a long time. However, contact with Marni was lost, leaving her to fend for herself. Soon after, she met Illezra, who seemed to know everything. As Deadeye had to cling to every little straw in search of her brother, she decided to follow Illezra.
