The MMORPG AION has received a lot of new content with Update 7.0, including the highly anticipated class of the Colorist.
What’s new in AION 7.0? The major update was released on July 24 and introduces a new region among other things. Additionally, you can finally play the class specialization of the Colorist, which has long been available in Korea.
- The new class specialization Colorist for the Artist offers colorful action thanks to the color rings as weapons
- Experience the story of Innana through new quests that lead you to the region of Dumaha
- In the Altar siege battle, you will experience PvP combat and receive valuable rewards for victories
- New transformation items provide you with buffs that you can combine with transformations
- In the Gold Arena, 3-player teams compete for valuable rewards
- In the Stella Development Lab, new and PvE challenges await you
- Experience daily and weekly Lugbugs missions
- Collect ancient, legendary, and ultimate equipment
Which contents are particularly interesting? There are three things that stand out from the update:
- The Colorist offers an interesting way to play AION. You can slow down opponents, make them stumble, or even hold them down, and you can quickly teleport away. Additionally, the Colorist makes the world more colorful with their attacks.
- The region of Dumaha can finally be explored in its entirety, after previously being a topic. You will learn more about why the Snuwa resist the idea of turning the devastated area back into a flourishing landscape.
- The Stella Development Labs have been overrun by bandits, and you must face this challenge together.
How is the update received?
AION 7.0 has been available since July 24. Accordingly, players have already dived into the new content and are discussing it. The content is received quite well after the restart of AION 6.0.
How is the Colorist performing? Many are currently trying out the Colorist and discussing in the official forum how it should be best skilled. Overall, the class has been well received so far because it brings something new and makes the game more colorful. However, it will probably take some time before it has been thoroughly tested.
What do players think about Dumaha and the Stella Labs? Players are currently having a lot of fun facing the challenges of the vast Dumaha map. However, the base in the middle appears to be quite a complex labyrinth, where many still have to find their way around.
The Stella Labs are also well received. It will take some time before this PvE content can really be mastered effectively, but you can already have a lot of fun with friends. The community advises to take it slow and start with the easiest difficulty level.
Currently, many AION fans are enjoying the new update. What do you think about it?
