The failed Kickstarter project Yogscast is now providing disappointed backers with Landmark keys. As reported by PCGamer, the 13647 backers of the failed Kickstarter project “Yogventures” will receive free keys for Landmark.
The backers had invested a good half a million dollars into the project, which failed in mid-July because the studio “Winterkewl,” commissioned by the British YouTuber group “Yogscast,” found the project was too ambitious – or maybe even two sizes too big.
At that time, Yogscast informed the fans that the project had become too ambitious for the mere six developers of Winterkewl. Therefore, they decided to cancel “Yogventures.” However, this was good because now they want to develop the game “TUG,” which aligns more with Yogscast’s vision.
To sweeten the deal for the somewhat sour fans, Yogscast came to an agreement with SOE to provide the backers of Yogventures with beta keys for Landmark.
